The first of November is here and this brings to light the start of a beautiful month!
November is one of most favorite months, not because of pumpkin spiced lattes or Ugg boots but because of time with my family, a warm fire and hot tamales! I cannot put my finger why November feels as if it were the start of a new season but it's definitely a pivotal month to remind ourselves to give thanks.
Though verbally speaking my prayers tends to be my go-to communication, this month I will be writing down at least one conversation I have with the Lord and it will be a conversation of gratefulness and praise.
If you have not ever written down your prayers, I challenge you to start today! Join me on a beautiful adventure with our Heavenly Father and see what a grateful heart can lead to!
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for all the wonderful things you have blessed me with this year. Your continued outpouring of love is written all over my heart. I thank you Father for an exceeding amount of favor and grace. Thank you Father for a loving husband, a roof over our heads and food in our bellies. Thank you Father for the smallest of things such as a time to read at night and hot tea. Thank you Father for the big things such as paying off credit cards and a beautiful new SUV. Thank you Father for your financial provisions, your Wild Heart which chases after mine. Thank you for never giving up on me, if when I stray. Thank you for teaching me how to have a heart like yours and a willingness to be modified. I am utterly grateful for the opportunities you have provided this year and the creativity you have sparked within my soul. Thank you Father for my ears to hear and eyes to see. Thank you Lord God for your consistency and most of all, Your Love.
