Here lately there's been a change in the weather, some changing in the color of the leaves and even a slight change in my work schedule. Some people might not embrace change with confidence but over the years, I have learned to trust in God in whatever change He has decided to put on my heart. Some changes are a little easier to trust than others but once we learn how to submit, it's easier to be still as He smooths out the rough edges.
Last Monday I stumbled upon Charissa's Art of Adventure and she mentioned she wrote up a new devotional and guys, it's FREE!

So today was my 'Day One' and by page two, I instantly knew what God had put on my heart. And you know what else? I chose to be brave and take His invitation!
It might not be easy but any invitation from God is worth it!
Lord God,
Thank you for inviting me on a brand new adventure. Thank you for holding my hand as I know fear might try to come suffocate Your blessing. Thank you for Your steadfast love, mercy and grace while you buff out the parts of me which need to change. Thank you Father for teaching me how to trust more in whatever grand adventure You have for me. Thank you Lord for providing family and friends who support and help steer me in the right direction. I want to thank you for continuing to work on my heart, filling it will more and more love. Thank you Father for teaching me how to be brave, embracing change with confidence and trusting You all the days of my life. In Jesus Name, Amen.
