Step Into Holy Week

There are certain moments in the year which invite us to slow down, take a breath, and reflect on what truly matters. Holy Week is one of those moments. Whether you’ve been part of a church community for years, are exploring faith for the first time, or simply feel like life has been moving too fast, this week is an open invitation. You don’t have to have everything figured out to step in. You’re welcome just as you are.

Holy Week begins with Palm Sunday, a moment filled with celebration, expectation, and anticipation. It marks the beginning of a powerful journey which ultimately leads to hope, restoration, and new life. If you missed our Palm Sunday message, we’d love for you to watch it HERE. It sets the stage for the entire week and helps frame the deeper meaning behind what’s to come. Wherever you’re watching from, this is a great place to begin.

I’ve created a simple Holy Week Reading Plan designed to help you engage with Scripture in a meaningful and approachable way. Each day includes passages to follow the journey of Jesus, from celebration, to sacrifice, to resurrection.

You don’t need a theology degree or prior knowledge to participate. Just a few minutes each day can create space for reflection, clarity, and connection with God. And here’s the best part, you don’t have to do it alone. Consider inviting a friend, texting a family member, or even reading alongside someone over coffee. There’s something powerful about exploring these moments together, asking questions, and sharing what stands out to you.

If you’re local, we would love to meet you in person at one of our Holy Week services. These gatherings are designed to be welcoming, meaningful, and accessible, whether it’s your first time stepping into a church or your hundredth. If you’re not nearby, you can still fully participate. Watch the message, follow the reading plan, and take time to reflect right where you are.

Holy Week tells a story which meets us in real life, the highs, the lows, the questions, the struggles, and the hope we’re all searching for. It reminds us that even in the hardest moments, there is purpose. Even in uncertainty, there is peace. Even in endings, there is new life. So wherever you find yourself today, consider this your invitation.

Pause. Reflect. Lean in.

There’s more to this week than you might expect, and it just might meet you right where you are.

Shalom,
